UNICEF is funded entirely through voluntary contributions. The main sources of income are individuals, trusts, businesses, government, community organisations and student fundraising through schools.

UNICEF receives no funding from the assessed dues of the United Nations.

UNICEF receives donations through our monthly Global Parent giving program. This program is designed to provide long-term assistance to children and communities worldwide. The monthly donations of UNICEF Global Parents support long-term programs to provide essential services that improve the lives of all children.

By focusing on helping as many children as possible, UNICEF ensures funds go to where the greatest need has been identified to help the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. With UNICEF’s help, hundreds of children’s lives are improved every day.
