All of our fundraisers must adhere to the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association  ( PFRA) code of conduct which means:

  • All our fundraising teams have to adhere to the PFRA street rosters, which indicates days and places for them to fundraise. The PFRA controls where charities can fundraise so the public are not overexposed to charity fundraisers.
  • All teams are instructed to be responsible in who they approach and subsequently sign up.
  • The PFRA check their code of conduct has been adhered to in various ways such as spot checks and ‘mystery shoppers’. In the last round of monitoring UNICEF NZ came out extremely well with a rating of 94%.
  • UNICEF NZ also fundraises door to door and has a policy of not knocking on doors after 7pm.
